Pione Dream Hackathon AI & Blockchain 2025 officially kicks off at HUTECH
Ho Chi Minh City, November 9, 2025 — In alignment with the national strategy on developing strategic human resources in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain, HUTECH University of Technology has officially partnered with Pione Group and other technology collaborators to organize the Pione Dream Hackathon AI & Blockchain 2025, themed “Building the next generation of pioneers for the digital era.”
The competition marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s journey toward building a, promoting the integration of artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain in real-world applications across industries.
🌐 Vision and Objectives
The Pione Dream Hackathon 2025 is not merely an academic playground, but rather a stepping stone for connecting young developers with Vietnam’s cutting-edge technology infrastructure. With the support of Pione Group – the developer of Pione Zero Chain, a next-generation gas-free blockchain – participants will gain hands-on experience in building and deploying practical applications in a sandbox environment.
🚀 Five Hackathon Tracks
- Track 1: Develop traceability dApps (real estate, agriculture, healthcare, etc.) on the Pione Zero Chain platform.
- Track 2: Build a decentralized exchange (DEX) or Blockchain bridge between Pione Zero Chain and other networks.
- Track 3: Train AI models (Pione AI) or develop IoT + AI solutions integrated with Blockchain.
- Track 4: Design a new blockchain consensus algorithm to optimize speed, energy efficiency, and security.
- Track 5: Build eKYC identity and real-world asset tokenization (security tokens) dApps for financial applications.
💰 Prizes & Opportunities
The total prize pool exceeds 200 million VND, including 100 million VND in cash and 100 million VND in NFT-based digital assets. The Hackathon aims to empower participants to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and strong technical capabilities.
Special highlight: All projects will be deployed gas-free on Pione Zero Chain – Vietnam’s first gasless blockchain network, allowing teams to focus fully on product development without worrying about operational costs.
Finalist teams will also have the chance to connect with mentors, industry experts, and businesses, opening up internship, collaboration, and job opportunities at leading AI and Blockchain enterprises.
